Brandy De Luxe is made for anyone who prefers exactly that: a brandy that is light on its feet and smells every bit as good as it tastes.

The essence is extra lavish and contains only natural ingredients of the highest quality. You can tell from its purity. Apricot, honey and vanilla come through clean and clear, with no cloying or artificial note, and the fine oak character stays discreetly in the background.

Colour & Appearance

In the glass the brandy glows a clear amber yellow with golden highlights – lighter than an XO, more like liquid honey. It looks light and inviting.

Nose

The nose is the first thing you fall for. Ripe apricot and yellow peach meet acacia honey and vanilla pod, and over it all floats a floral note of lime blossom, vine flower and a little violet. A hint of fresh grape, almond and freshly planed oak gives the aroma structure without weighing it down.

Palate

The palate is smooth, fruity and beautifully balanced. The apricot arrives first – juicy and sun-ripened – joined by honey and a little orange blossom. Vanilla brings roundness, while a fine note of oak and lightly toasted bread makes sure the brandy ends dry and elegant rather than sweet. The warmth is gentle and even. Nothing sticks out and nothing is missing, and it is precisely that balance that has you happily topping up the glass.

Finish

The finish is medium to long, clean and floral. Honey, apricot kernel and vanilla fade out quietly, with a last little breath of oak and white pepper.

How to Use

The essence is mixed with vodka or neutral spirit, and the finished brandy can be enjoyed straight away. 20 ml makes 750 ml. Instructions are on the label.

Serving Suggestions

• Neat in a balloon or tulip-shaped glass, just below room temperature.
• With crème brûlée, almond cake or an apricot tart.
• With tonic, ice and a twist of lemon zest as a light aperitif.
• In a cocktail with sparkling wine, a sugar cube and bitters.
• With ginger ale and a slice of fresh peach in summer.
