Colour & Appearance

In the glass, pear vodka is completely clear, with no tint at all. The slightly oily sheen it takes on when served really cold is the only thing that sets it apart from spring water.

Nose

The nose is mild and inviting. Ripe pear, cut into wedges, with its characteristic sweet and slightly grainy fruitiness. The pear skin gives a green, faintly spicy edge, and above it sits a floral lightness that brings fruit trees in blossom to mind. Deep down is that note of pear ice lolly and pear soda that stirs up memories.

Palate

The palate is smooth and juicy from the very first moment. The ripe pear fruit takes centre stage – round, soft and with gentle acidity. The skin adds a little grip and structure, while the floral note lifts the flavour and makes it airy. The ice-lolly feeling is there as a friendly, vanilla-soft roundness, yet the drink remains dry and grown-up. The vodka behind it is clean and lets the fruit have the last word.

Finish

The finish is soft and medium-long. Pear and a faint floral note fade slowly, leaving a clean, fruity freshness with no sweetness.

How to Use

The essence is mixed with vodka or neutral spirit. 20 ml makes 750 ml of finished spirit that can be enjoyed at once. Instructions are on the label.
