FS Mango & Passionfruit is a fruit shot of the pure kind. No spices, no bitterness, nothing odd – just clear, juicy fruit with a sweetness that makes the shot soft and easy to drink. It works equally well as a colourful welcome shot at a party and as the base of a tall drink with a fizzy mixer and ice, and it is made for adults who want to offer something cheerful and uncomplicated.

Colour & Appearance

The finished drink leans towards yellow and orange, like the flesh of a really ripe mango. The sugar gives it a slightly syrupy body, and after a few hours in the freezer the shot slides slowly and smoothly into the glass.

Nose

The nose is generous and tropical. The mango arrives first – sweet, ripe and a little peach-like – followed closely by the floral, tangy perfume of passion fruit that makes your mouth water. Further in, a hint of orange and yellow stone fruit. It smells of freshly pressed fruit juice rather than sweets.

Palate

The palate opens softly and sweetly with mango to the fore: full, juicy and round. Halfway through the sip the passion fruit steps forward and tightens everything up with its fresh acidity, so the sweetness never becomes heavy. That interplay between silky and sharp is the whole point – every sip begins as dessert and ends as fruit juice. The warmth of the spirit sits discreetly in the background and lets the fruit take the leading role.

Finish

The finish is clean and sunny. The tang of passion fruit lingers longest, together with a gentle mango sweetness on the lips. Nothing clings – your mouth feels fresh and ready for the next bite or the next toast.

How to Use

The essence is mixed with vodka or neutral spirit, plus sugar. 20 ml makes 750 ml of finished fruit shot. Instructions are on the label. Chill the finished bottle in the fridge or freezer before serving.
