Extra Dark Reggae Rum Essence 50 ml
Three bottles of extra dark rum from one small bottle of essence. 50 ml is the in-between size for anyone who both mixes drinks and bakes – one bottle for the bar, one for the kitchen and one in reserve.
Flavour Profile
Almost black in the glass, with a nose of blackstrap molasses, dark-roast coffee and overripe banana. A dense palate of burnt sugar, liquorice, dark chocolate and clove, and a finish that never seems to want to end.
How to Use
Mix with vodka or neutral spirit. 50 ml makes 2.25 litres of finished spirit, equivalent to three 75 cl bottles. Instructions are on the label.
Serving Suggestions
- Planter’s punch with lime and nutmeg.
- With ginger beer and plenty of ice.
- Rum raisins for ice cream and baking.
