In a short space of time agave has become one of the most sought-after flavours in the bar world. The sweet, slightly green and lightly earthy note of cooked agave heart marries with lime and salt in a way few other flavours manage. Agave Vodka builds on that, but in a lighter guise: at heart a clean, soft vodka, with the agave as an elegant accent rather than the main act.

That makes the profile unusually broad. It appeals to the guest who wants something new but not too challenging, and to the bartender looking for a vodka with a little more to say in citrus drinks. The 25-litre format is intended for manufacturers and gives 937.5 litres of finished drink, over 1,300 bottles of 700 ml.

Colour & Appearance

The finished drink is crystal clear and bright, just like a classic vodka. It moves lightly in the glass and gives a clean, modern impression that suits transparent bottles with a pared-back design.

Nose

The nose is clean with a soft, sweet greenness. Cooked agave – a little like oven-roasted pumpkin with honey – sits quietly over a neutral vodka base. Lime peel, a touch of grapefruit and a fine streak of white pepper bring freshness and life.

Palate

The palate begins as a soft vodka, clean and lightly sweet. After a moment the agave arrives: round, discreetly nectar-sweet and with a green, plant-like note that gives the drink an identity of its own. Citrus keeps the middle fresh, and the white pepper lights a small spark towards the end. The whole is light, balanced and considerably milder than a full-blown agave spirit – the agave seasons, it does not dominate.

Finish

The finish is clean and medium-long. A mild agave sweetness and peppery warmth fade away together with lime peel, and the close is dry enough to work in sharp, citrus-led drinks.

How to Use

The essence is mixed with neutral spirit or vodka. 18.67 ml makes 700 ml of finished drink. Concentrated 37.5 times – 1 ml of essence equals 37.5 ml of finished drink, which gives 937.5 litres from one 25-litre drum. Instructions are on the label.
